Meet the Board of Directors

John Gallups, President


John Gallups has 33 years investigative experience, including 21 years in a special investigative unit, 19 years of experience in fire service, and currently serves a Southern Baptist Convention Chaplain. His commitment and dedication to providing exemplary community services have led him to continue his life of service. Passionate about ensuring first responders and law enforcement officers receive the support and resources they need has become his mission.

 

 

Mark Hollingsworth, Vice President

Mark Hollingsworth is the President of Retirement Solutions of Alabama, a licensed insurance agent in the State of Alabama, specializing in retirement planning utilizing annuities for lifetime income and life insurance for estate planning since 1991. He also serves as the Vice President at 1:1 Foundation. Mark has been married to Sherry for 29 years. She runs the family cattle and chicken farm, they have three children. Zack who is the owner of Comm Pros, Austin who owns Austin’s Lawn Care, and Shay who is working towards becoming a Dental Hygienist. Mark is an active member and serves as a Deacon at Mountain View Baptist Church. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

 

  

Angie Gallups, Treasurer

Angie Gallups is the treasury supervisor, in the corporate office for Envolve Communities, LLC. During her tenure with the company, she has been promoted several times. Her steady growth and development transitioned her from compliance officer to corporate accounts, to her most recent senior management promotion. She has a degree in finance and communications. 

 

She has served as treasurer for the past four years with the Emerald Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. This position has afforded her the opportunity to gain valuable non-profit accounting experience. Her dedication and commitment to serving the community is unmatched.  The key to both her professional and volunteer success is organization.  Angie grew up in a small Midwestern town and always wanted to move to the South. She worked in the insurance industry spending many years in non-standard auto claims and moved to Alabama in 1994. Angie and John met in 1996 when they both worked for Progressive Insurance. Angie Gallups serves as the secretary-treasurer of the 1:1 Foundation.  Angie’s life scripture is grounded in Philippians 4:7.

 

  

Sherry Hollingsworth, Community Liaison

Sherry Hollingsworth runs the family farm raising cattle and chicken. She has been married to Mark Holllingsworth for 29 years and they have three children Zack, Austin and Shay. Sherry enjoys cooking and serving others.  Sherry serves as the community liaison for 1:1 Foundation, connecting members of the community with resources to meet their needs. She is an active member at Mountain View Baptist Church. Sherry enjoys working out, the outdoors and spending time with family.

 


Tommy Reid

Tommy Reid was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from St. James High School in 1978. He attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and graduated with a B.S. in Geology, with minors in Business and in Related Sciences in 1981. He worked in the oil and gas industry in Lafayette, Louisiana from 1982 to 1990. He moved back to Montgomery in 1990 and began a career as an Environmental Geologist/Hydrogeologist. He worked for The CWA Group, Inc. from 1990 until 1997. He founded Environmental Solutions & Technologies, LLC in 1997. He provided environmental consulting services to private corporations and federal and state governmental agencies from 1997 until he retired and closed the company in 2017. He remained retired for a short time and then went to work operating heavy equipment at a construction company for almost 2 years and then retired again. He now spends much of his time trying to stay in shape and traveling with his wife.

 

He is married to his wife Lisa, and has recently celebrated his 20th anniversary. His older son, Tony, is an engineer at GMC and lives in Greenville, South Carolina. His younger son, Dean, is a Master Responder for Marine Spill Response Corporation and lives in Mobile, Alabama. His step-daughter, Kristin, is a financial analyst at ZAPF and lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His step-son, Tony, is a department manager at Lowe’s and lives In Jeannette, Pennsylvania. He has one grandson, Atlas
